Diligence Hope Foundation is a registered non governmental organization that aims to promote the welfare and transform the lives of vulnerable, marginalized, voiceless or disadvantaged groups.
Our community in Singida faces numerous challenges such as poverty, unemployment, and inadequate knowledge of basic human rights. Therefore, Diligence Hope Foundation and its members aim to address these challenges by mobilizing resources, establishing effective services, and advocacy.
Background
Singida is one of the regions in Tanzania with high rates of poverty, low levels of education, and limited access to healthcare facilities. The region has a population of approximately 1.5 million people, with over 80% living below the poverty line. Most of the population relies on subsistence farming and small-scale businesses for their livelihoods. Unfortunately, unemployment among
youth is rampant, and access to quality education is limited. As a result, many children are forced to drop out of school at an early age, creating a cycle of poverty.
